TECHNICAL SERVICE

Underground Electrical Fault Finding

We use advanced radio detection technology, including the RD8100 receiver, TX‑10 transmitter and A‑Frame fault locator, to accurately trace buried electrical lines and pinpoint faults. The transmitter injects a precise signal into the line, the receiver tracks that signal underground, and the A‑Frame identifies the exact point where current is leaking to earth. This combination lets us locate underground cable breaks, shorts and corrosion with high accuracy, often within a few feet, without unnecessary digging.

Why Ross Leak Detection?

01

Engineered Precision

Every leak investigation follows a structured, engineering‑based process. We map your system, analyze pressures and flows, and use calibrated instruments so each mark we put on the ground is based on data—not guesswork.

02

Specialized Gas Technology

We use specialized tracer gas technology to find leaks that traditional methods miss. A safe, low‑density gas is introduced into your system and rises through the smallest openings in the line. Sensitive detectors then pick up that gas at the surface, allowing us to pinpoint underground leaks with high accuracy and minimal disruption to your property.

03

Systems-Based Logic

Every inspection follows a technical protocol, ensuring comprehensive system coverage and reports backed by specialized expertise.
